Killer Klowns From Outer Space Rap - Knock Ya Block Off

What’s good everyone? For everyone reading, you probably know a lot about me by now. Or jack shit. Either way, a big part of my life is film. And a large chunk of that includes campy ass horror flicks, specifically from the 80s. Killer Klowns from Outer Space was always a movie I knew about, but didn’t actually sit down and watch until I was a bit older. For anyone not aware, Killer Klowns is a 1988 sci-fi comedy horror film created by the Chiodo Brothers. And if you couldn’t guess by now, it’s about clowns who invade Earth, specifically a small town, so that they can trap humans in cotton candy cocoons, murder them, and harvest their bodies so that they can consume them.

Sounds fucking nuts, right?

What I always found funny about this film is that it’s basically The Blob, but with clowns.

Anyway, go check out the movie because it’s insane. But I digress.

Illfonic studio recently released Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game, an asymmetrical horror game that takes elements from the film and mixes them up into one big, murderous melting pot. I’ve been playing it since release, and they really killed it with this one. I enjoyed it so much that it inspired me to create a track based on the game and the movie. Knock Ya Block Off is officially out now on all platforms, and I’m real happy with the release. I put together a gameplay video for it as well, which you can peep below.

Shoutout to the whole Illfonic studio for keeping Killer Klowns alive and introducing it to a new audience. It’s a lot of damn fun, so pick up a copy if you can.

Peace,

-Sam
